Ambassador Logistics Fair

Indonesian Ambassador to Tunisia Mohamed Ibn Said asserted that the need for supplies to Indonesian citizens, who fled at the Embassy in Tunis, are safe for the next few days. "The need for adequate logistics for the citizen," said the Ambassador, which is accessible from Cairo, Egypt, on Friday (21/01/2011). President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono when giving a briefing on the military and police leadership meeting at the Ocean Hall of Indonesia, Jakarta, Friday (21/01/2011), said the government is committed to watching the welfare of members of the military and police.

Government, the President said, is committed to increase salaries and remuneration of members of the military and police every year. This is done with the aim of encouraging members of the TNI and the Police over achievers and performers. Welfare of members of the TNI and the Police always been one of the government's attention.

"Even this year the 6th or 7th Pesiden salary has not increased," the president said at the front ranks of the TNI Headquarters and Police Headquarters.

The President delivered, an increase in salary and remuneration is not rhetoric, false promises, let alone lie. "Turn the compulsory housing savings. Hold a scheme for the soldier could get decent housing, in accordance with their respective capabilities. I realize that there are still problems about housing soldiers," the president said.

Golkar Kecam Rencana Inpres

Belum juga Inpres percepatan proses hukum kasus Gayus Tambunan terbit, Partai Golkar sudah menilainya negatif. Mereka pesimis perintah Presiden SBY untuk dilaksanakan Wapres Boediono dan Satgas Pemberantasan Mafia Hukum itu akan efektif.

"Bukan hanya tidak efektif tapi bahkan akan memperkeruh persoalan, karena faktanya Satgas dalam kasus ini justru menimbulkan masalah baru," ujar Sekjen Partai Golkar, Idrus Marham, dalam konferensi pers di Gedung Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, Jumat (21/1/2011).

Idrus pun menyarankan agar Presiden SBY membatalkan rencana penerbitan inpers tersebut. Alasannya untuk mengefektifkan penegakan hukum terkait kasus Gayus, meski dia akui langkah pembatalan sama dengan kemunduran.

"Setelah pernyataan Gayus, instruksi tersebut perlu dilihat kembali. Paling tidak jika itu
dipertahankan tidak hanya tidak efektif tapi justru memperkeruh persoalan, lebih baik kita mundur selangkah untuk maju lebih baik," paparnya

Idrus menilai diperlukan penanganan yang lebih serius dan konsisten dari aparat penegak hukum untuk dapat menyelesaikan kasus tersebut secara tuntas dan adil. Jika tidak, Golkar khawatir penegakan hukum di Indonesia akan semakin rusak karena permainan mafia hukum.

"Sebab, apabila hal tersebut tidak dilakukan, tentu akan mempengaruhi bahkan merongrong kewibawaan lembaga penegak hukum itu sendiri dan memunculkan ketikdapastian hukum yang tentu berdampak terhadap bidang kehidupan lainnya," paparnya.
